Brandworkz 10.6 Release Notes

We're pleased to announce Brandworkz 10.6, delivering key improvements to streamline your template management workflows and strengthen platform reliability.

What's New:

• Enhanced Template Control: Set expiry and publish dates on Web-to-Print templates, giving you precise control over template availability and lifecycle management. 

• Infrastructure Improvements: Infrastructure consolidation and modernisation to deliver more reliable performance for image processing and downloading transforms. 

This release focuses on reducing administrative overhead whilst ensuring your platform operates more consistently. 

The new template scheduling capabilities eliminate manual template management tasks, whilst our infrastructure improvements provide the foundation for sustained performance as your usage grows. 

Web-to-Print Template: Set Expiry Dates and Publish Dates

You can now configure your templates to go live on a specific date, so they’re available to your users when you want them to be, such as for a new campaign, a rebrand, etc. 

If your templates are time sensitive and shouldn't be used past a certain date, you can now add an expiry date.

Please Note: When the date has passed, the Template will automatically set itself to unpublished, meaning the Template and any artworks created from it will no longer be accessible to end users. 

In the “Template Settings” area, simply go to the bottom of the “General Settings” section and you will find the following fields where you can select the dates accordingly: 

• “Publish date”: Allows admin to select the date when the template will be published automatically. 

• “Expiry date”: Allows admin to select the date when the template will expire and be made unavailable to web-to-print end users.

Image Transform enhancements

This release delivers significant infrastructure improvements focused on consolidating our image processing technology stack. In addition to the enhanced platform stability, by making these improvements we have been able to address the bugs below: 

• The resolution specified when downloading .png files was not applied  

• The dimensions specified in the “mm” or “cm” fields of the download wizard were incorrectly applied as “px” in the downloaded file 

• The DPI set in the download wizard was not applied  

• Adding border, padding colour, or fit to images with transparent backgrounds incorrectly fills the background with the padding colour. 

• Security fixes 

New Supported File Types We have added support for the following file type:

• .psdt
