Autogrow and Anchored Frame

Autogrow Frame

  1. Click on the text frame that you’d like to grow.
  2. Click on Text tab > Text Frame Settings 
  3. Check Auto-Grow FrameHere you can alter the direction that the frame grows, set the increment by which is grows and the max and min size of the frame.



Please Note:

Auto-size used in InDesign does not import into the editor



Anchored Frame

  1. Click on the text frame that you’d like to be the anchor.
  2. Click on Frame tab > Frame Location 
  3. The Tag box name the frame.
    Repeat this process for the frame you’d like to move.



  4. Click the frame you’d like to move.
  5. Navigate to the Frame tab> Anchor 
  6. Choose the point of the frame you’d like to anchor using the icon (the red box shows which edge is anchored)
  7. Choose the ‘Target



  8. Select the Frame that you named previous.



  9. Select the point to which you’d like the text to be anchored.



  10. Set the Offset - the space between the two frames.


Please Remember

The frame which you choose to act as the anchor should not be anchored to itself
