On the 10.3.1. release we introduced 2 new tabs under the metadata and search section on settings. These are the "All Fields" and "Search Config" tabs which provide an enhanced detailed overview of the metadata discrepancies currently exist on the system, helping the system admins to identify the areas they need to review and update for a better system operation.
Warnings Meaning and Actions
All Fields tab
- The red warnings will require an action to ensure the system operates in the best of its ability.
- The amber warnings are there to ensure you are aware of the discrepancies without the need to correct them if there are intentional.
Hover over the warnings to see the specific 'field error messages'
- The error messages will be compared to the first instance as clearly marked below.
- The actual discrepancy is stated on the error, in the below case is the "Default value".
In order to fix the above red warning discrepancies > Click on the first instance metaset > click update.
- On the field you get the below message informing you that as soon as you click update, all shared fields will automatically get updated matching the first instance configuration.
In the same view, you could use the hyperlinks below to quickly check the configuration on the rest of the shared fields.
Please note: All options properties apart from "Tool Tip", "Mandatory", "Read Only" and "Album Visibility" will be updated to all shared instances of this field. This means that you are allowed to have different configurations across shared fields for the above 4 options.
In case of an amber warnings discrepancies > Click on all shared fields> Review and update each field separately.
Please note: An amber warning means that you are allowed to have different configurations across fields but it is a subject of review.
The below warning indicates that some field across shared instances has been configured to be searchable whereas in other is NOT searchable. The system sees that as a discrepancy between shared fields hence the below warning.

Here you can sort the order in which the filters appear in the search. Drag and drop filters to reorder.
You can choose to hide the "Folders" in the search filters for end users and keep it visible only for the system admins.
